I was raised Southern Baptist, perpetually responding to invitations. I really wanted to “get it right.” When 15yr old me recognized what I now know was bigotry, I walked away… 19yr old me tried to go back, but there was more Rock & Roll in my Soul than Calvinism, so I completely left “Church”, never fearing for my eternity.  

A profound experience in 1977 was the beginning of 80-year-old me. Flo & I are Ordained we’ve; never been “Pros”, we have been participants. The decades have been filled with Teaching, Preaching, a Tape Lending Library, Prison & Street Ministry, and writing music. It’s been a “trip”; through Evangelicalism, The Jesus Movement, Charismania, Emerging Church, a 5yr Cohort at a popular KC Brewpub, Zoomz, and Podcasts, all reflected on UNHEARDWORDZ.com 

When he was 80, Caleb was given Mt. Hebron… in that Spirit, 80-year-old me is looking for new heights.
